Because Every Body Matters
Carolyn Hodges Chaffee, MSRDN, CEDRD, opened the Nutrition Clinic, one of the first eating disorder clinics in upstate New York, over two decades ago. Recognizing the need for more intensive treatment and regional step-down programs, she also opened the Sol Stone Center, a partial hospitalization program, and intensive outpatient programs in Syracuse, Ithaca, and Binghamton. The Upstate New York Eating Disorder Service now serves more than 400 patients a year. She has also been part of Cornell's Healthy Eating Program since its inception. She continues to provide consultation, supervision, and case management for the program. She received her undergraduate degree from SUC Oneonta and her Master's degree from Marywood College.
